This syllabus will be followed as closely as possible. However, it is likely that minor adjustments will need to be made as we work our way through the material to account for the needs of the class. The class is scheduled to complete on 3/24/18, but it is likely that it will end later than that due to circumstances beyond my control (e.g., weather, illness, special parish functions, etc.) for which a class or two could be cancelled. Hence, “buffer” weeks are listed at the end of the syllabus that will be used to make up for such cancellations. Note that many of the chapters will start one week but not finish until the following week, which is why some chapters are listed on two successive dates.
